Wort Wort Wort-h The Time & Effort!

Peter Mander and friends with there arts & crafts
Project.
So we've seen replicas of assault rifles, pretty awesome. Master Chief outfits, not bad. This completely changes the concept of D.I.Y. I mean i can barely put up a shelf so for me to even attempt this would most likely start a full scale world war 3. When i saw Peter Manders excellent work on this phenomenal piece of nostalgia you can only imagine how my face almost fell off. Peter Mander a Canadian self-taught artist started work on this amazing suit with friends and ended up with a fully functional elite. Made from mostly plastic this monster stands about 9 foot tall and about 3 people wide. If only I could see it in person to judge... Peter Mander has been asked to make suits for films, TV shows and other reasons, hopefully not for someone looking for a replica of Angelina Jolie to replace their wife with fully animatronic mouth... oh and he like bunnies.

A Spartan Will Rise, Reach Will Fall

Just a quick video post, for anyone that hasn't already seen it here is a quick bungie vidoc called "A Spartan Will Rise". I saw this recently and was amazed even though i know the story of reach and where the voice of cortana came from i still found myself watching this and thinking that it was cortana speaking... was i dumbly mistaken or what.

So there you go Dr Halsey... obviously. Having to wait 2 weeks for reach is torture, thanks bungie next time why not use the judas cradle its slightly less painful. Comment your thoughts about this video and tell us what you are going to do to pass the time.

The First Of Many

My Point of Light on the 26th with a few other lights
2 days later the screen is much, much brighter.
So, how better to start a gaming website than to talk about bungie's latest instalment of the halo franchise. I’m not going to bother you with all the menial information that you probably already know like it’s a prequel, based on noble team just before the fall of the planet reach but instead jump straight into bungie’s latest advertisement website.

For anyone that doesn't already know the remember reach website (www.rememberreach.com) shows us a partially completed light sculpture of Noble Team similar to the statuette that is shipped with the legendary edition of the game. The light sculpture gives us the opportunity to place a spot of light as part of the overall structure. The website follows a robotic arm that can be watched in real time as well as connected through face book allowing you to place a point of light on the sculpture making it a fuller and brighter image every time someone adds a star.

Although this alone is pretty damn amazing next are the set of live action films directed by Noam Murro showing the events of people coming up to the battle of reach. Again this is not all, Mr Murro has been a very busy man as not only did he direct one of the first halo reach live action shorts (Birth of a Spartan) but he has also directed the phenomenally beautiful trailer titled “Deliver Hope”, which shows noble teams final sacrifice. which can be seen of the bungie website along with other Reach news straight from the horses mouth.

Be sure to stay tuned for more halo reach news. I have a strange feeling that in 17 days we will have the best sci-fi shooter to date, dare i even say best shooter?
